TOEFL IBT
TOEFL iBT test by Educational Testing Service (ETS) measures your ability to use and understand academic English.
TOEFL iBT is computer based with a full score of 120. It evaluates your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills.
- Reading: The reading test contains 3-4 academic passages with a total of 36-56 questions within 60-80 minutes
- Listening: The listening test consists of 34-51 questions. Within 60-90 minutes, you will listen to lectures, classroom discussions, and conversations.
- Speaking: The speaking test, containing 6 tasks within 20 minutes, requires you to express an opinion on a familiar topic. You will base your speaking on reading or listening tasks.
- Writing: It comprises of two writing tasks. With the time limit of 50 minutes, you are asked to write essay responses based on reading and listening tasks
When and where can I take the TOEFL iBT test?
The TOEFL test has over 50 test dates per year at authorized test centers around the world. In Bangkok, it is held approximately three times a month. In Chiangmai, Hat Yai, Sraburi, and Yala, there might be fewer dates.
